Other voices, other rooms
I have also ventured into writing for a wider audience, including an essay on the trade of an intellectual historian in South America, and several articles published in newspapers with considerable circulation in Argentina. Additionally, I was interviewed on a radio show to discuss political representation.
For the blog of the Journal of the History of Ideas, I wrote an essay on the fragility of the craft of an intellectual historian, especially for those coming from the South. I discussed the difficulties of saying something relevant and the ease of falling into obscurity, destined for the graveyard of political thought.
Newspaper articles
I wrote pieces for Diario BAE, Letra P (here and here), and Perfil. I also delved into the issue of personification of (real or fake?) terrorist groups in an essay published in Revista Espectros.
Fabrizio Zotta and Mariano García interviewed me to talk about political representation. Should our representatives look like us or should they be totally different?
Along with Luc Foisneau, Sylvia Giocanti, and Eric Marquer, I organize the seminar Hobbes@Paris. Check the website to take a peek at the 2024-2025 program.
From time to time, I share some scattered ideas on my blog about state personifications.
Luc Foisneau, Éric Marquer, and I organized the Fifth Biennial Conference of the European Hobbes Society, held in Paris in November 2024.
